Need help there is being a big change in my dogs personality

Shih Tzus, her name is Molly and she was 2 in April
She has always been a very happy and loved being around people, for the last month and half if not longer, she has become very withdrawn and seems to be nervous, this is really out off personality.
I have taken her to vet a few times but they cant find anything wrong.
when I take her out she loves it and has plenty off walks which she always has had, will run around play with other dogs etc.
In house is where the change happens looks very tired at times and fed up.
goes into a room on her own rather than be with company.
when called she will not come, she does sleep with me at night and is happy then seems relaxed.
I have even thought she may of been mistreated but there hasnt been a chance for that as far as i know.
when i go out i leave back door open for her as i have a yard with very high walls, but she will stay in bedroom.
Can,t think what else to say there is more i am so worried and my daughter who is 19 has also noticed all this.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP WOULD BE SO GREATFUL
THANKS VERY MUCH XXXX

Hiii....There are many reasons of sudden behavioural change in dog. But as you said that vet can not find anything wrong in your dog. Behavioural changes that are brought on by environmental factors may be harder to deal with. A change in the owner's routine is often enough to cause behavioural changes. In this case, you should try to pay more attention to your dog. Take it for walks and devotes as much one-on-one time to your pets possible and the most important thing you should change your dog's diet. .

Hello, is Molly exposed to ticks?  Ehrlichiosis is caused by ticks and the symptoms can be masked, as well as vary a lot! Read the discussions on this site.  If the answer is yes to tick exposure, I will want to eliminte the possibility of ehrlichiosis, please discuss with a veterinarian who is knowledgeable on the subject. One of our Huskies with chronic Ehrlichiosis removes herself from contact with us and the rest of the pack when her Ehrl flare up, almost like she is depressed. (Hope Molly is negative for Ehrl) Good Luck

Good tips from replies here. Have you tried to give her more fun and activities at home. You say she likes to play outside, maybe she would like more interaction and play at home.
