I have heard that you should brush your dogs teeth, but I dont.  Does everyone here brush their dogs teeth?

Ha, that is funny.  But what do you do about his bad breath?  Have you tried any of those treats that are good for a dog's breath?

I'd hear about it but I personally would never brush my dogs teeth, what am I going to do after, taking my dog to the psychiatrist?

there are special chewy treats on the market that help keep your dogs teeth healthy and clean and if you are in doubt about how (if needed) to clean your dogs teeth many groomers or vets will provide this service at a reasonable price

You definately need to incorporate dental hygiene into your dog's health care! We have learned this the hard way. We were giving our 9 year old Sheltie dog chews, thinking that was enough, but a recent visit to the vet we discovered she was in the end stages of kidney and heart failure and her teeth were in terrible shape. The vet said the teeth could have caused the problems or vice versa, there was no way to know for sure.  But I keeping thinking, "maybe if we had taken better care of her teeth, she might still be with us."

Just give them a bone everyday. Chicken wings or necks for small dogs and bigger bones for big dogs. My dogs have died of old age with strong white teeth from eating one bone a day.

Yes obviously just like humans dogs also need a clean oral care, no dog owner wants that his dog has a bad breath and to get rid of this you must brush you dog teeth.
