how old can a stud dog be?
MY female poodle and my 14 year old poodle were caught in the act. I did not think a dog that old can breed. The vet says she is expecting. Both are AKC. Will I have any problems registering the litter.

I think an older stud are the best. In fact, a lot of people prefer breeding with older stud dogs because they can use pervious litters as an indicator for what types of traits they pass on.
The AKC has really given up on using their certification as a stamp of quality. As long as the Sire and Stud are already registered dogs, the AKC could not care about the quality. In your case, yes, the puppies can be ACK registered dogs.
