Help!! Litter box problem!!! Need help, please!!

Hi everyone!

I got a new kitten last Thursday (Feb. 12th). I named Moe...Moe is just 6 weeks old.. I did show him where is the litter box...I am trying to encourage him go to the litter box by himself...but he didn't...So, I carry him to the litter box and tell him that "you go bathroom"... However, he peed on floor under desk - corner....third times...I don't get it...I tried to show him to the litter box...So, I changed litter- fresh litter...When he peed on the floor and I cleaned with paper towel and show him...I washed with vinegar and water on the floor... He seems still can't go to the litter box by himself because I have to carry him to the litter box...I am so frustrated and a little upset..I know I can't blame on him because he is just baby... Any idea??? PLEASE HELP ME!!

Is he going in the same spot, or is it all around the house? If it is in the same spot, maybe try putting the litter box on top of his favorite spot. Cats usually like are naturally attracted to the litter box once they learn. He is a bit young, but neutering him is also something I would recommend.

Well, I am confident its not litter.  Good luck at the Vets office, report back when you learn what might be causing the problem

Hey, I just saw a video on PetWave about how to train you cat to use the kitty litter, check it, https://www.petwave.com/video.aspx.  Just look for the video in player! Is the video similar to how you trained you cat?

is your little kitty fixed? Maybe its a marking instinct that might be avoided by getting the kitty fixed.
