What breed do you think my dog is?
I'm trying to figure out what breed my dog is. When I got him I was told he was a lab/pit mix. But I'm not convinced. He kinda has the face of a pit, but he is not stocky at all, he is actually very skinny (not unhealthy-the trainer said he won't gain weight cause of his high energy) and he's very tall.
my gysmo died suddenly... and ideas why?
My baby boy gysmo was only 4 years old. Perfect health we take him to the vet regular to check him over. Anyway I let him out side yesterdayas we always do. I thought something was wrong when he did not come back when I called him at 2:30 just 2 hours after been let out. At 7pm when he hadent come back I decided it was time to go looking.... half hour later I found him in the field behind my house in the bushes close to my garden. He looked like he had been attacked at first look but I brought him home and realised all the blood had come from inside his ear..... no cut at all like I first thought.... autopsy is out of the question I don't have those kind of funds.... but i just want to know what happened to my baby gysmo..., any help or ideas. I miss him so much

Sadly my 6yr old English Setter has been diognosed with rectal casinoma, he has had a CT scan which shows it has not spread anywhere else but the tumor is 12cm so they cannot operate.Apart from straining, you would think nothing was wrong, at the moment no other outward signs. The vet has given him Previcox as it is said in some dogs it slows down the tumor, also to give him lactolose twice a day. It's been suggested a high fibre diet, to bulk up his stools but still keep them soft and easy to pass. Can you suggest anything else I could do to help him, eg. anything to try and slow down the growth.
Standard American Bulldog or Dogo Argentino?

I have an elderly cat that for the last 14 1/2 years was silent at night. For the last six months or so, he has begun vocalizing in the middle of the night (up to 3 different times during the night). Each "song" is exactly 8 meows long and they are sort on long drawn out meows ending with a sound like a question. I snuck up on him one time as he was doing this and he was laying (with his head up) in his recliner and his eyes were closed as he carefully enunciated each meow. I softly spoke his name and his head spun around and his eyes were like huge pools of black ink (it was pretty funny). He does this every night and my husband and I count the meows (always 8) and it almost sounds like he is practicing, trying to shape his little kitty lips to the perfect "O" to create the exact sound he is looking for. He is very agile and loving and he has a lot of little rituals that he plays out every day and this seems like a new one. We like to say he suffers from COCD (cat obsessive compulsive disorder). Has anybody else seen this behavior and more importantly, have any idea WHAT and WHY he is doing this?
What breed to choose? Tonk or Ocicat? Abyssinian or Bengal?
Can someone give me some advice? When I move out my cats (2 rescues) are going to stay with my mother, because I can't imagine a life without cats I was planning on adopting two new cats. I would like to have an intelligent, active cat who gets into trouble and makes life that little bit more interesting, but I also would like it to come to me for a cuddle. So I was thinking of a Tonkinese or an Ocicat, a friend told me that an Abyssinian or a Bengal would not be a good match for me because they won't cuddle with you. Can someone confirm this? And for my second cat I would like to have a rescue because I would feel guitly going to a breeder when there are shelters full of cats waiting to go to a warm home. I think the best way to make them get along is to ask the shelter for an active kitten around the same age as the kitten from the breeder. But I'm a little bit worried that they won't get along once they're older and one cat is much more active than the other one. Is it possible to see whether a kitten is going to be active or not when it grows up? And can someone give some advice on the breed I should pic? And if they get along really really well and I would try to add another cat to the group after a few years, would it be accepted?
