Changed Morning Routine
My now 3 yr old hound rescue is not wanting to go potty first thing in the morning. She's been housetrained for 2+ years and still gets a small treat (used to encourage potty training in the beginning, but now given only for morning pee). She's crate-trained, so I say "no potty, no treat" and she happily re-enters her crate until I take her out 30-60min later to try again. In the past, having to re-crate right away made her compliant and she wouldn't do it again for weeks or months, but this week, it's been 3 days of this behavior and I have to get her to potty before going to work, don't I? Help please!
hi, My 10 year old cairn is just moping around the house. She has increased appetite and thirst. Doesn't want to be picked up. She just walks around aimlessly. She doesn't sit in the window and wait for me to come home or even get up to greet me when I do come home. She was tested for cushions and it came back negative. Is there anything else I can test her for?
