The Skye Terrier, known for their perky ears and characteristic smile, is a breed of dog in the Terrier Group. The Skye Terrier is famous for its loyalty and devotion, and at one time this dog breed was the favorite companion of the Scottish lairds and the English aristocracy. The Skye Terrier was approved by the AKC in 1990.
