I woke up this morning and noticed that my dogs eye was all yucky and had green bugers around his right eye. Is there anything I can do other than taking him to the vet? Times are a little tuff right now, so every dollar saved helps out.

Unfortunately I think at this point an infection may have already setlled in. One thing you can do is give it a few extra days before going into the vets office. Try keeping his eye clean with warm damp towel, and make sure to avoid any further damage to the eye. If he starts pawing his eye, it could cause a ulcer/scratch to his eye, and then you are in serious trouble (this would be your worst case scenario).

I would just take him into the vet. No need to risk further damage to your dogs eye.

ewwww eye bugers are no fun. I think using a dry towell and keeping the eye clean should help. If it does not get better in a few days you will need to see your vet.

Sorry to hear about the eye problem. It sounds like the eye is already infected, and you may want to consider going to the vet now. If you dont, it may end up costing you more in the end.
