What breeds suit the companion dog the best? I had a Golden Retriever that was on his way to being a fully fledged companion animal. We just never went through scent training and retrieval skills. Is there a small dog that can meet my needs?

In Cats

My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat. Nb I'm in New Zealand so.its perfectly safe for cats to be outside - no poisonous snakes or insects or wild animals.
My problem is trying to get rid of litter boxes and train him to go outside. He is 3 yrs old and was a breeding cat. Ticky is an Exotic and I've had him for a year. To start the training I bought a hooded litter box to keep outside and transition him into using the outside. After 2 days he started using it but for poop only. He still uses the I side litter box for urinating.Any suggestions why he is doing this? I don't want to takeaway the inside box as I do 12 hr shifts and don't want accidents inside. How do i train him to do everything outside.

Hypoallergenic dogs
Hello I'm looking for hypoallergenic dogs as my mum is allergic to dog fur and I would like a dog. Please can you tell me any breeds. Also do you know if s husky or a collie is a hypoallergenic dog breed. The :)

My younger brother has allergies to dogs and cats. I wanted a dog all my life and never got the chance to get one. But I had a way to convince my mom. My mother has always wanted a dog too. I used that note on her. My dad though, was the hard one to convince. He didn't really want a dog. I convinced him that we could get a hypoallergenic dog.He said,"I'd have to take a look at them. Step 1: DO NOT WHATSOEVER HOUND YOUR PARENTS WHILE THEY CONSIDER GETTING A DOG!
I'll post step 2 this afternoon

I have an 11 month old purebred golden retriever. Recently he has been roaming around the house and staring at shadows and the ceiling. He does this from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to bed. He also tends to get very agitated while doing this. He will bark, pant, and cry while staring at the ceiling and running around the house. I've taken him to the vet and all blood tests came back normal. We also had an issue with potential petit mal seizures which have seemed to subside. What do you think this could be? Has anyone ever had similar problem. We are thinking about taking him to a neurologist but want to get a second opinion before we do. Any advice would help!

I ve recently just gotten a kitten and I was curious as to what breed she is, it s not a big deal to me I was just wondering and thought it would be cool to know and read up on.
The lady I got her off said the mother cat was a Persian X Turkish angora
The father cats breed is unknown but she told me it was her neighbors cat and was an Australian cat????(not sure)

So I was just wondering if anyone who s really good with identifying different types of cats and could maybe try and see what breed my amina could be, thanks in advance. ☺

In general, Non-REM stage3 sleep is called deep sleep in human, but in dogs, is REM sleep called deep sleep?

The lady I got her off said the mother cat was a "Persian angora" but as I ve searched they re actually two different breeds. The lady doesn t really speak good English so I don t really understand.
