I am almost crying telling this story. Well, this is about the first dog we ever owned. His name was Daffy. He was a male. He was healthy all of his life until one day he was 12 or 13. It was Semptember 2001. Daffy started laying around under our boat that we used to have. He hardly came out. One day my dad & brother took him to the vet. They kept him there. For some reason when I was outside with my mom who was grilling one Summer's evening I just got restless. We ate dinner when my dad & brother came home. My mom asked my dad "honey, do you think I should call and check on Daffy?" and my dad said "okay". My mom called. My mom turned to us and took us in a bedroom and said "the doctor said they dod all they could for Daffy but he didn't make it. They did everything they could". We found out that Daffy had a large cancerous tumor in his liver. The next day I just broke out into tears. The next day we went up to our new house that we were building (the one I'm living in now) and we burried Daffy. I cried. Then a couple of weeks ago we were on our way to Farmer Jacks when I gazed up into the sky and my mom & I went into Farmer Jacks while my dad & brother went to Hollywood Video and I broke out into tears. My mom comforted me but I just felt pain from Daffy being gone. A couple of years ago after Daffy died this dog came around for two days strait. He wouldn't leave the house for two days. He looked just like Daffy & acted like him. My brother called him a bunch of names & when my brother said Daffy the dog looked up. We never saw him since. To this day I still say it was Daffy's spirt and my family aggrees. Thanks for taking your time to read this sad story. I will listen to your sad story and comfort you when you need it. Thanks.
