So I came across MSNBC's article on Bo Obama, and I can't make up my mind on what I think.  On the one hand, the whole story seems more than a little fishy. On the other, I think President Obama is an honest man and I almost always think the conspiracy theorists area a few cards short of a full deck.  What does everyone else think?

(For those who aren't familiar with the story, you can read it here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30194173/)

From what I can tell Obama has done nothing wrong, I mean the dog was returned and needed to find a good home. After all, what better house to live in than the White House.  Can you just imagine what type of food they feed him… I bet he gets treated like a king. Regardless of if its a rescue or not, I just think having a good home is the most important part.

Hey digger, I think you are right, its all about the quality of the family that a dog has, not so much what type of dog it is.  I think the pres is doing a great job, just look how much he plays with BO!!!!

Seems like he decided to get a dog that would fit his image along with his daughter's allergy problem.  I just think people should recognize there are so many dogs out there that need help, and adoption should be the first place the look.

Rescue dog or not, I am glad to see that it’s become a tradition for the President to own a dog.

You are certainly a joke-ster...   Do you prefer to rescue or go for the purebred?

Everyone has the right to their own opinion:)  Regardless of the job he is doing, I still think his dog is so cute.  It would be so funny to see Bo doing tricks at the white house.
