Yep its really not a good idea to breed father to daughter, although in the wild it mayhappen. You would not want the genetic problems that go with inbreeding.

Are there any breeders out there. Have you ever had my problem. My stud dog this year cant seem to consumate the act, He mounts the girl and his "little boy" comesout to play, then it justs flaps from one side of the girls hind end to the other, not makingcontact. This has been very frustrating for him and for the girls. Any ideas on how ican help him.

I can give you some general thoughts, but you probably are going to want some sort of professional advice from a vet with some breeding experience. It could be a problem with your bitch and her woman part. If she has never been breed before, then like all virgins may have a flab that blocks entry of the "man part" Its basically like a little donut. The problem could also be with your stud and his "man part" not getting fully extended. There are a few solutions, one of which is artificial insemination. Before really knowing what's going on, I would have the bitch looked at before trying again.

Hopefully you will get this. Sorry I just found this website but maybe this will help in the future! I ve bred dogs for 10 years. It really depends on how big is your male compared to the female and has your female ever been bred. If not her hymen has to break causing discomforted for the female and sometimes the male. I have to handbreed my dogs in this situation.
