Can anyone recommend a good way to exercise an old dog that has signs of arthritis? My boy thunder is getting old, and because of his arthritis I feel bad taking him on long walk. Advice needed...

Have you tried swimming?  This is a low impact way to get your dog off the pavement, but still get a good work out.  I had bad knees, and my doctor told me that swimming was a good healthy option.  Since dogs are like people, it just may help do the trick.  Good luck!

I have heard a good thing to do for senior dogs is to make sure they warm up properly before running.  Like old people, it just take a little more time to get their joints loose and ready to be worked out.
