Idiopathic Vestibular Disease in Cats: An Overview

Vestibular disease in cats is an acute, nonprogressive disturbance of the peripheral vestibular system that usually causes clinical signs of head tilt, nystagmus and/or loss of balance in cats of any age. Nystagmus is defined as a periodic, rhythmic, involuntary movement of both eyeballs in unison.
